Welcome to AsSiddique Post, the online home of AsSiddique Weekly, the official bulletin of the Islamic Center in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
AsSiddique Weekly revives the spirit of an earlier monthly bulletin first launched by members of AsSiddique Masjid. Although that project paused when its founders moved away from Stillwater, their efforts inspired a new generation to continue the mission.
When Dr. Ahmed Abo Basha shared the story with members of the Islamic Center, they formed what is now known as the “Da’wah and Media” group. This team launched several meaningful initiatives, including the Islamic Center’s website, designed to serve as a comprehensive and informative hub for the Stillwater Muslim community. The site highlights the Center’s activities, programs, and services. It also hosts an extensive section on Islamic topics, which makes it an invaluable source for Islamic teachings to all. The “About Islam” page alone presents over ninety subjects addressing questions commonly asked by visitors and readers from outside the Muslim community.
The group also established AsSiddique Online School, an educational platform dedicated to teaching Muslims of all ages the fundamentals of Islam. Its twelve courses cover Aqeedah (creed), Tawheed (monotheism), Fiqh (jurisprudence), Hadith, Tajweed (Qur’an recitation), and Islamic history — including the story of Da’wah, the life of the Prophet (peace be upon him), the Rightly Guided Caliphs, and the eras of the Umayyad and Abbasid caliphates, among many other topics.
In addition, the group contributes weekly articles to the Stillwater NewsPress, bringing Islamic knowledge and reflections to a wider readership. By the grace of God, these articles have appeared regularly for the past two years. Among them are “Muhammad Is the Messenger of God” and “What Is Shahadah,” two pieces that reflect the heart of our ongoing mission: to share the message of Islam with clarity, sincerity, and respect.
