Since the early turmoil caused by the Khawārij, no trial has afflicted the Muslim community as deeply as that posed by the group known as “the Muslim Brothers” – commonly, and in my view mistakenly, referred to as the “Muslim Brotherhood” or as they are known in Arabic, The Ikhwan.
Ironically, in all their rallies, they raise copies of the Qur'an, just as the Khawarij did on the days of Ali ibn Abi Taleb.
Debt is part of everyday life. Islam has left nothing without teaching us how to handle or deal with it. Debt is among the most intricate issues as it involves rights for both parties, the lender and the borrower.

In this hadith, the Prophet (peace be upon him) teaches us the true meaning of responsibility.
In Islam, every person has a specific duty that they are accountable for and must uphold. Leaders have their own responsibilities and will be questioned by God about how they fulfilled them. The AsSiddique Post will post Jumuah Khutbah (Sermons) whenever the Khateeb (the speaker) gives his permission and submits his sermon in writing.
Islamic laws are derived from two primary sources: the Quran (the spoken words of Allah) and the Sunnah (the way (traditions: everything he said or did) of the Prophet ﷺ, preserved through Hadith). Without Hadith, we would be like sailors with a map but no compass—we would know the destination but not how to navigate…
Many times, I have observed brothers in the prayer hall on Fridays not observing the essential obligations and etiquette taught to us by the Prophet, peace be upon him. AsSiddique Weekly (print edition) has addressed this vital subject repeatedly, yet with new brothers regularly attending only the Friday prayers, I find it important to revisit…
