18 NOC Nursing Students Receive Pins at Ceremony

Eighteen Northern Oklahoma College nursing students celebrated a significant milestone in their professional journey as they received their nursing pins during a ceremony at the Kinzer Performing Arts Center in Tonkawa.

💬 Guest Speaker Inspires New Nurses

The guest speaker for the ceremony was Stacey Corneil of Pottawatomie Nation Health Services, a proud member of the NOC Nursing Class of 2012.

🎭 Ceremony Highlights

Following the pinning ceremony, the celebration continued with meaningful traditions that honor the nursing profession. Kenzie Webb led the graduates in reciting the Florence Nightingale Nursing Pledge, a solemn commitment to the ethical practice of nursing that has been recited by generations of nurses since 1893.

Sarah Way shared a touching moment by reading an original poem titled “If Nursing School Could Talk,” capturing the journey, challenges, and triumphs experienced by the graduating class.
