“O Allah, You are the Most Forgiving and the Most Generous; You love forgiveness, so forgive me.”

“O Allah, I ask You for the causes of Your mercy, the firm resolutions of Your forgiveness, safety from every sin, the treasure of every good deed, success in entering Paradise, and salvation from the Fire.”

“O Allah, forgive my mistakes, my ignorance, and my excess in my affairs, and what You know better than I do. O Allah, forgive my unintentional errors and my intentional ones, my jokes and my serious matters — all of that is from me. O Allah, forgive me what I have done in the past and what is yet to come, what I have kept secret and what I have revealed. You are the One who brings forward and the One who delays, and You are over all things All-Powerful.”

“O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency.”

“O our Lord, grant us goodness in this world and goodness in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.”

“O my Lord, make me and my progeny steadfast in the prayer, and O our Lord, accept our supplication.”

“O Allah, set right my religion, which is the guardian of my affairs; set right my worldly life, which is my livelihood; and set right my Hereafter, which is my final return. Make life an increase for me in every good, and make death a rest for me from every evil.”

“O Allah, make Your lawful provision sufficient for me so that I have no need of the forbidden, and enrich me through Your grace so that I have no need of anyone besides You.”

“O Allah, grant our souls their piety, and purify them — You are the best to purify them; You are their Guardian and their Protector. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that is of no benefit, from a heart that does not fear You, from a soul that is never satisfied, and from a supplication that is not answered.”

“O my Lord, make my entry a truthful entry and my exit a truthful exit, and grant me from You an authority that aids me.”

“O Allah, forgive my sins, grant me spaciousness in my home, and bless me in my provision.”

“I entrust to Allah — whose deposits are never lost — my religion, my soul, my trust, the endings of my deeds, my home, my family, my wealth, and all that Allah has bestowed upon me.”

“O Allah, I ask You, O Allah, for You are the One, the Ahad, the Independent, the Self-Sufficient, who has not begotten nor been begotten, and to whom there is no equal — that You forgive me my sins. Indeed, You are the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful.”

“O Allah, I ask You for the best supplication, the best prayer, the best success, the best deed, the best reward, the best life, and the best death. O Allah, keep me steadfast, make my scales heavy, confirm my faith, raise my degrees, accept my prayers, and forgive my mistakes. O Allah, I ask You for the highest degrees of Paradise, and I seek refuge in You from being brought close to the Fire.”

“O Allah, I am Your servant, the son of Your servant, the son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand, I proceed according to Your decree, and justice is in Your judgment. I ask You by every Name by which You have named Yourself, or taught to any of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or kept in the knowledge of the unseen with You — that You make the Noble Quran the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the clearing of my sorrow, and the removal of my worry.”

“O Allah, I ask You to bring peace to my heart and mind, and to turn away from me the scattered thoughts and worries. O my Lord, there are matters in my heart that none knows except You — fulfil them, O Most Generous. O Allah, relieve me of the distresses of this life and the next, and whatever You know better than I do.”

“O my Lord, inspire me to be grateful for Your favour which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and to do righteous work that pleases You, and admit me by Your mercy among Your righteous servants.”

“O Allah, we ask You for the very best of what can be asked.”

“O Allah, we ask You for the best of what Your Prophet Muhammad ﷺ asked You for, and we seek refuge in You from the evil of what Your Prophet Muhammad ﷺ sought refuge from You against. You are the One from whom aid is sought, and upon You is the conveyance. There is no might nor power except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.”

“O Allah, I disown my own strength and power, and I have turned to Your strength and power. O Allah, aid me and do not make others prevail over me; support me and do not let others overpower me; guide me and make the path of guidance easy for me.”

“O the Living, O the Self-Sustaining — by Your mercy I seek help. Set right all of my affairs, and do not leave me to myself for even the blink of an eye.”

“O Allah, You have made my physical form beautiful — so make my character beautiful too.”

“O Allah, I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the deed that brings me to Your love. O Allah, make Your love more beloved to me than my own self, my family, and cold water.”

“O Allah, I ask You for faith that does not waver, a bliss that does not fade, and the companionship of Muhammad ﷺ in the highest Paradise of eternity.”

“O Allah, You are my Lord. There is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant. I am upon Your covenant and Your promise as much as I am able. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favour upon me, and I acknowledge my sin. So forgive me, for none forgives sins except You.”

“There is no might nor power except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great. Allah is sufficient for me; there is no god but Him; upon Him I rely and He is the Lord of the Great Throne. In the name of Allah, by whose name nothing is harmed on the earth nor in the sky, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. O Allah, protect me from in front of me, behind me, to my right, to my left, and above me, and I seek refuge in Your greatness from being harmed from below. I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from every devil and every harmful creature, and from every evil eye.”

“O Allah, put light in my heart, light in my hearing, light in my sight, light to my right, light to my left, light above me, light below me — and grant me light.”

“O Allah, guide me to the best of character — none guides to the best except You — and turn away from me the worst of character — none turns it away from me except You.”

“O our Lord, do not hold us accountable if we forget or make a mistake. O our Lord, do not burden us with a load like that which You placed on those before us. O our Lord, do not burden us with what we cannot bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our Mawla, so help us against the disbelieving people.”

“O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the removal of Your blessing, from the change of Your wellness, from the sudden onset of Your punishment, and from all of Your wrath.”

“By Allah, I own nothing of the affairs of this world, and I have entrusted my entire matter to You — its major and minor, its beginning and end, its public and hidden. So take charge of it with Your care, and make me one who is constantly content, abundantly grateful, and of good disposition.”

“O Allah, grant me blessing in all that I possess — in my body, my soul, my heart, my life, my family, my home, my homeland, my earth, my sky, my moments, my stillness, my breath, my speech, and everything that surrounds me. O Allah, open for me the doors of good and ease, and close against me the doors of evil and hardship — for there is no might nor power except with You. In You I seek aid, in You I seek refuge, and in You I find sufficiency.”

“O Allah, attach my heart to the prayer and the Quran, and grant me steadfastness until I meet You.”

“O Allah, set me right before death, grant me the best ending, and take me while You are pleased with me, and provide for me those who will supplicate for me after my passing.”

“O Allah, to You is praise until You are pleased, to You is praise when You are pleased, and to You is praise after Your pleasure. To You is praise out of love and gratitude, to You is praise for a day and for a lifetime, and to You is praise eternally and forever.”

“Glory be to Allah and by His praise — to the number of His creation, to the extent of His satisfaction, to the weight of His Throne, and to the ink of His words.”

“O Allah, make me happy and make my family and those I love happy. Open our chests and bring peace to our hearts. O Allah, I entrust them to You — so protect them with Your eye that never sleeps.”

“There is no god but Allah, He is alone, He has no partner. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He is over all things All-Powerful.”

“O Allah, grant me steadfastness upon the prayer out of love, not merely obligation. And make it more beloved to me than the affairs of this world and all that it contains.”

“O Allah, I entrust to You the supplications that overflow from my heart — so answer them for me, O Most Generous. O my Lord, give me good tidings of what will gladden me, and You are the Best to bring glad tidings. O my Lord, grant me something more beautiful than what I hope for, more than what I expect in good, and better than what I pray to You for. O my Lord, I have entrusted my entire matter to You — so beautify it with good as You will.”

“O Allah, I ask You for a soul that is at peace — one that believes in meeting You, is content with Your decree, and is satisfied with Your giving.”

“O Allah, O Turner of the hearts, keep my heart firm upon Your religion. O Allah, do not take me until You are pleased with me. O Allah, aid me in remembering You, being grateful to You, and worshipping You beautifully. O Allah, forgive my sins and erase my misdeeds. O Allah, I have wronged myself — so O Allah, forgive me. O Allah, set all my affairs right and return me to You with a beautiful return. O Allah, send Your peace and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.”

“O Allah, keep away from me the eye of the envious, the heart of the spiteful, the friendship of the hypocrite, the love of the liar, and the plotting of the treacherous.”

“O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in my affairs and determination in seeking guidance. I ask You for the means of Your mercy and the resolve to attain Your forgiveness. I ask You for gratitude for Your blessings and excellence in Your worship. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I ask You for the best of what You know, and I seek refuge in You from the worst of what You know, and I seek Your forgiveness for what You know, for You are the Knower of the unseen.”
